In 2004, HK band Soler -- formed by twin brothers Julio and Dino Acconci -- had contractual disputes with their former record company Hummingbird Music, which eventually developed into a lawsuit. Hummingbird Music sued Soler for not fulfilling the contract, which the Court ruled Soler must pay HK$6 million, but the record company said Soler still hasn't paid in full. Last year (2012), the Court ordered Soler to file for bankruptcy (credit Soler's wiki). Soler's HK showbiz career instantly collapsed, but recently Soler switched over to the Mainland and overseas market for a fresh start. Its rare that they appear in HK, but yesterday the 40 year old singer Julio married his 33 year old girlfriend, Taiwanese actress Judy Hu (daughter of Mayor Taichung Jason Hu). The wedding was held at Jason's mansion in Taichung. Although the bride's family background is high-profile, but the wedding was kept low-profile. The only attendees were Judy's parents, Julio's mother, twin brother Dino and family and 30 other friends/relatives. The newly weds walked down the red carpet ten fingers interlocked. Witnessed by parents of both sides, the couple signed the marriage certificate and exchanged rings.
Jason exposed during an interview: "I just met my son-in-law 10 days ago. My daughter, who didn't want to get married, ends up telling me she's married, but I respect her. The low-profile marriage was arranged by the young couple." Jason added he only saw Julio three times, but feels he is a trustworthy and honest person.
