Ekin & Charlene: "10 more years to sequel!"
With the success of Ekin Cheng and Charlene Choi's sequel to their 2002 hit, "My Wife Is 18", it was revealed that both actors are not hesitant to return to their role, on the condition that the production can wait another ten years.
According to Groove Asia, speaking at the Tsim Sha Tsui celebration party for the success of "My Sassy Husband" in breaking the 10 million mark at the Hong Kong and Macau box office, producer Daneil Lam and director James Yuen revealed their intention to make a sequel and a television series for the movie.
When asked about it, both actors expressed their interest in the sequel, but stated that they would like to make it ten years later. Ekin Cheng revealed that he would much love to make a television series version of the movie; although Charlene Choi thought it would take too much time.
Meanwhile, when asked about his upcoming wedding with girlfriend Yoyo Mung, Ekin said, "It has been in preparation for a long time. I am already very bored spending 2012 talking about it. I am not talking about it in 2013."
