Edison Chen given the cold shoulder by girlfriend

Edison Chen's relationship with his new love interest Taiwanese-Korean Angela Meng took a dive after the latter returned to Taiwan in frustration.

The Hong Kong star who travels to Shanghai and Beijing often, has apparently been meeting new girls at the clubs in the Chinese cities during his work trips. His girlfriend disapproved of his frequent visits to the nightclubs and the pair has reportedly not seen each other for a month.

His friends pointed out that Angela was often seen beside the 32-year-old prior to this and that it has been a while since they last saw them together.

Responding to these rumours, Edison denied that his beau is angry over his flirtatious ways and claimed that he will fly to Taiwan for her when his health gets better.

The singer-actor was seen wearing a dejected look while attending the opening ceremony of a new Heather Grey Wall store in Shanghai last week, and he left a party with his assistant barely two hours after arriving at the club, which was a rare occurrence.

Sources revealed that Edison looked uneasy throughout the night and that he was not paying attention even when "high quality babes" entered the club.
